About the Artist
 Blue Bond paints exclusively in oil. He pulls his varied subject matter from his life experiences and lays it out on canvas with an expertise that moves easily from wide swaths of color to intricate detail.
Bond was recently honored by being commissioned to do an oil painting to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II.
The event," America Celebrates Freedom” which took place in 2005 in Vancouver, WA was the largest such event sponsored by the US Department of Defense in the United States. Bond’s painting is now on display in the O.O. Howard House at the Vancouver National Historic Reserve Trust.
