    Work's great!, 10.8.2008

I live near the Santa Ana warehouse in L.A. County, so I went there and tried out the bike before I bought it. You can't beat this price for a folding bike!
I will say: the freewheel on this bike (gear rings on the rear wheel) apparently have cheaper bearings than what you'd find in a more expensive bike at a bike shop, and I found that sometimes the freewheel would stick, causing the chain to slack when you coast, which is not good. However, I simply took the bike into a bike shop and had them lube and adjust the bike's freewheel, gear shifters, and brakes for $15. I also bought a DIY bike maintenence book and some tools for < $80 total, so now I can maintain the bike myself. So out the door, I've spent about $230 for this bike and the tools to adjust it myself. Compare that to the base price you'd find on any other bike in a bike shop, especially a FOLDING bike, and you'll see that this is a great deal.
All in all, I definitely recommend this bike. It's a great value. Yes, you may have some problems initially, as it will have been shipped and jostled around in a big box, AND the bike is more cheaply made (mass-produced) than most you'd find at a bike shop, but the problems I had were easy and cheap to fix.
I use this bike every day to commute, and have taken it on long rides (20+ miles last Sunday). Works great.

It is a nice bike.
But it arrived damaged beyond repair.
RV staff was exceptionally helpful and replaced the damaged item without a fuss.

    Bike folds easily, 7.25.2008

The bike folds easier than expected. It's a little heavier than a regular bike. A couple of things were bent when it arrived but we straightened them back out. The bike seat is very hard - you may want to replace or cover it. Seems to shift OK but it's hard to tell what gear you're in since there are no numbers - only Low and High

I'm very happy with the bike. The only ordeal I would say is with FedEx who obvoisly took no care in handling the bike. The chain protectors were broken and the breaks where out of wack. But FexEx sucks so there ya go. Still... i'm very happy with the bike.
